English national team players Phil Foden and Mason Greenwood have been sent packing after DV revealed their daring encounter with two Icelandic girls. They will need to make their way separately to the United Kingdom. The English team is set to continue on to Denmark later today and will do so without the two players.
The players are very likely in violation of Icelandic quarantine rules and might be facing 250.000 Icelandic krona fines. They and their team mates arrived in Iceland on a „work exemption“ from Iceland’s fairly strict quarantine rules. The female companionship is a violation of the terms of this exemption.
The ladies met up with the players at Hotel Saga, home of the English national team while in Iceland. At first only one of the ladies was set to meet up with Mason Greenwood. She was driven to the hotel by her friend which was later invited to join after Phil Foden expressed interest in meeting her.
The ladies did not enter into the rooms of the players as the players had booked separate rooms for them on a different floor of the hotel which they then snuck into. On a video obtained by DV, one can clearly see the room and lobby of Hotel saga. The players were under strict instructions to stay inside their hotel while in Iceland, which is likely the reason they opted to book a room for the ladies inside their own hotel.
In the video, the ladies can be heard chatting among them selves and to their followers on social media platform Snapchat. There they discuss their upcoming meeting with the football stars and reveal their identity. The ladies express that they are going „only as company,“ and nothing more.
Lady 1: „The one who plays with Manchester and I just decided to join her and spend the night with her. [turns the camera and asks her friend] How do you feel?“
Lady 2: „I’m nervous, just very fucking nervous“
Lady 1: „What am I doing?!“
[Cut to another video]
Lady 1: „Okey, I’ve never experienced anything like this. I was starting to think that [lady 2] was just going to go and be with that guy, and it turns out he is with a friend of his and he asked about a friend and [lady 2] said that I was available and [lady 2] just calls me out of the blue and asks „come, come back“ and I was just „where are you“ and she replied „he is with his friend and he wants to be with you.“ I was just what!? And I don’t know what I’m getting myself into. He is going to book a room for me, this guy [Foden]. I don’t know [inexplicable]. I just feel like an escort or something. I’m not doing anything. I’m just coming as company, nothing more. Fuck, I don’t know what’s going on here!“
[Camera turns to check in desk at Hotel Saga, the elevator and finally the hotel room]
Lady 1: [Talking to camera] „For many who are asking, then she is going to be with, who again, I don’t remember his name? [turns camera to lady 2].“
Lady 2: „Mason Greenwood“
Lady 1: „And I’m going to be with Phil, what’s his name again?“
Lady 2: „Phil… wait… Phil Foden.“
Lady 1: „Phil Foden. Isn’t this just a casual Sunday? What the fuck!“
